The Atlan Nordik Sport Jumpsuit is one of our most popular cold water wetsuit with its bigger brother, the Atlan Nordik Pro. It was designed to withstand the harsh conditions of Canadian diving while providing a maximum of flexibility to the diver. The superior flexibility of the Nordik Sport jumpsuit was achieved using two different types of neoprene at different strategic points on the wetsuit. Neoprene with a thickness of 3mm was used in conjunction with thicker 5 mm neoprene to achieve an optimal compromise between ease of movement and heat retention. Unlike the Atlan Nordik Pro, the Atlan Nordik Sport is not meant for extremely cold water but for milder temperatures given its general thickness.
The Atlan Nordik Sport Jumpsuit was completely designed, tested and tested again in the Atlan Productions Inc. facility located in Quebec, Canada. Its creation was motivated by the need to provide an alternative to the sometime overwhelming warmth of the Atlan Nordik Pro Jumpsuit. This wetsuit was is currently made in the province of Quebec in Canada.
Features:
Attached hood
The attached hood of the Nordik Pro and Nordik Sport jumpsuit simply removes the normal water entry point located at the neck thus providing a much unform warmth distribution in the head and torso region for the diver.
Spine pad
The additional spine pad integrated in the wetsuit provides an extra layer of protection for the spine itself and added comfort during the entry and exit phases. It also helps relieve the uncomfortable pressure induced by the weight of the tank during long dives.
Cross chest zipper with internal zipper flap
The cross chest High Density YKK zipper provides the diver with easy and straightforward doning. It also helps in having a tight seal at the face.
Double Gasket System
This innovation adds an extra layer of protection against water infiltration with an additional seal at the wrists and ankles.
Pre-curvedThe factory made sleeve and legs curvatures give the wetsuit out of the box comfort and removes the usual break-in period. TuffTec knee pads
The TuffTec pads have the flexibility of neoprene while being highly abrasion resistant and scuff proof which give the wetsuit added longevity.
